A-Level and GCSE, PC and now Interactive-DVD-Game courses

Welcome to the LCL website. LCL is a long established firm supplying educational software to schools, colleges, homes, business, and the computer trade. LCL courses use state-of-the-art features, such as video, speech recognition and 3D animations, where needed, to make the subject easy and fun.

Each course uses the proven LCL teaching method, and has up to a million questions. Each PC CD-ROM course includes a book and, for foreign languages, a microphone as well. All courses run on Windows XP, Me etc. and most now run on Windows 7 and Vista as well. All the Maths, Science and English CD courses are Windows 7 and Vista compatible. Yet they only cost from £19.99, and postage is free.

LCL courses have a variety of different programs to keep the student interested. Videos are used in the science courses to demonstrate experiments which the student can carry out himself. A Virtual Teacher, also, may pop up to help the student understand difficult concepts. Most courses end with a Mock exam to show the level the student has acheved.

In the language courses, you can talk to a video of a French, German, Spanish or English actor. He appears to understand and reply in the foreign language courses. This is done by speech recognition in PC courses.

These courses are popular in schools. They are Interactive Whiteboard compatible. Homework Emailer, Worksheet Generators and integrated online and CD software are available, allowing them to be used from the schools and its students' and teachers' homes.

New! There is now a version for you whatever type of PC you have: Netbook, laptop or desktop. The courses are all on PC CD-ROM, and many are also on USB memory stick, and online.
