This self-tuition
and revision course takes mature beginners (or A-level students) up to
AS and A-Level in Physics. It is divided into 3 equal sections Mechanics, Electricity, and
Waves and Energy.
There are 4 versions: PC CD-ROM (single user), PC Intranet and Network version, Apple iMac (and MAC) CD the Online Course.
The Online Course runs on Apple iMacs,
some iTVs and PCs. The Online Course version is called Emega Physics. When ordered your password will be emailed to you.
The courses' features are:
|
- Homework Slave is a new unique program (included) that shows you how
to do your homework. You just enter the details of your Physics problem
and it will show you how to calculate the answer, for all common A-Level
topics
- A Virtual Teacher (video) pops up to help you understand the more
difficult Physics concepts, if you keep getting the answer wrong. Video
is also used to demonstrate Physics experiments.
- It has around 300,000 possible questions
- So easy to use. There is no need to install
- Physics is taught by multimedia, e.g. video, speech, animation,

series of Mock Module Tests (all except Online Courses)
- Familiar internet operation. The new versions operate like internet web
pages, using hypertext links
|
It covers:
- Motion Experiments. Video is used to demonstrate experiments, which
you can carry out yourself. It covers the different types of motion and
Data Analysis
- Linear Motion
- Forces in Equilibrium
- Projectiles
- Work and Energy
- Momentum and Moments
- Power
- Circular Motion
- Oscillations
- Gravitational Fields
- Circuit Diagrams
- Resistance
- Kirchhoff's Laws. A video 'Virtual Teacher' pops up to explain these
Laws and show you how to apply them
|
- Potential Dividers
- Capacitance
- Reactance
- Resonance
